Hi All,

As you know the Bowls Greens in Waterloo Square was due to open on the 27th April 2024. Following a meeting Hilly, Mike and myself had with Tivoli recently some great news is that we have got agreement to start the season a week early, from the 20th April 2024.

The Tuesday Roll Ups will now start on the 23rd April 2024.

Carpet Bowls will finish the week before on the 16th April 2024.

As soon as we know the Green fees for Waterloo Square for 2024 we will let you know. Last year we did not hear from Tivoli until very close to the Bowls season starting but know that they are currently discussing these.

Tivoli are looking to introduce an online booking system this year for rinks - more details will follow. There will still be an option for booking by telephone for those that prefer this.

We are pleased to report that as well as our new Blue Bowls Pushers we now have 8 Blue Bowls Mats for us to use this season. The mats will be kept with the pushers. Thanks go to Neil for paying for 2 of these mats for the Club's use.

REFRESHER COURSE - We will be running three Bowls Refresher sessions on the following dates; Thursday 2nd, 9th and 16th May 2024 10.30 - 11.30 am

COMPETITIONS - Have you put your name down for the Club internal competitions?

CLUB MEMBERSHIP - Please return the completed Renewal and Competition forms to Hilly Ayton or place in the RAFA Club post box by the bar area if you have not already done this. Fixture Lists etc will be issued once you have renewed your membership.
