Hi Dave, One of our members isn’t receiving emails from the site. I have checked her junk/spam there is no sign. It is a gmail account. She receives my emails sent to her from my own account to that email address. Any suggestions?

When adding addtional years to trophies I cant use the add year+1 or -1 only add year if I use the other buttons it says adding trophy year but doesn't and the buttons stay greyed out makes updating tedious.

We would like to go completely paperless this season, so is there anyway of adding the named driver to the selection sheet, perhaps a symbol like the star for the captain to identify drivers?
It's a good idea Joy, I'll have a think about it ,see if it can be done this season without introducing bugs and problems. For now the only workaround is writing the drivers name into the fixture Notes/Additional info fields.

I've played for many years and love the game, but struggle as do a few at our club. This is because everything starts at 6pm. and I and a few others work 8.30 - 5.30 then have a 45 minute commute. not just wednesday roll ups, but Monday night Matches, and even club events like race nights all start at 6pm. Should clubs take members who still have jobs (more and more working later due to no pension funds) after all we are the "younger members" who will eventually keep the clubs alive! It almost seems like the retirees who play have forgotten.
was raised at the agm, and failled to be adopted. seems the older members are a bit scared us younger (im 60!!!) might take their place. and this is a way to keep us out.

Today we're pleased to announce a new feature that enhances communication within your club! The Officer Contact System allows visitors and members to directly reach out to specific club officers through your lovebowls website.
Before today, all messages sent from your Contact page were emailed to all website Admins for response. The old behaviour is still the default however now you can enable direct contact for any officer position using a new checkbox on the Office Editor page. For example, you might decide to allow visitors and members to contact your Secretary directly. When enabled:
Officers appear in a convenient dropdown menu on your club's contact page
Members can select specific officers to direct their inquiries to
Quick contact buttons are added to your Officers Page for one-click access

Issues with adding new fixtures etc
Hi Dave
I have uploaded all my fixtures for the upcoming season and have come across a couple of issues:
1) On some categories of matches, when viewed on match tab then go to details I get the message below. It doesn't happen in all categories but for example in NSTL and Mixed Friendlies.
2)Can you remond me how to link games played at the same time so selection is from one group of players (eg as in Wednesday night league when selecting 3 teams)

Strange because someone else reported same this evening and that was also gmail, although others on Gmail are getting the mails. I will look tomorrow however the most likely reason is that they have at some point in the past clicked on the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of every mail. I can check this tomorrow if you send me her email address privately to admin@lovebowls.co.uk
